Now is the time to make your plans for fall parking. Students interested in bringing a motor vehicle to the College next school year, must submit a parking registration request. The parking registration form will be open from 8 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 through noon on Monday, June 20, 2022. Approved requests will be billed to the student account ($450 for the 2022-23 academic year) after July 9, 2022. This is a non-refundable registration fee and is not eligible to be prorated.

An automatic reply will be received after submitting a parking registration request. This is a confirmation that the request was received and is not an approval or guarantee of parking assignment.

On-campus parking is limited. Public Safety plans for the needs of students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus. Please do not bring a vehicle to campus unless Public Safety has approved your request.

Parking Permit Distribution
Students approved for parking will receive a window sticker delivered to the home address provided during registration. Please apply this sticker to your vehicle before returning to campus. If you do not receive a sticker by Aug. 8, 2022, please contact Public Safety

By submitting a parking registration request, you agree to abide by the College’s motor vehicle rules and regulations and hold Lafayette College free of all liability for damage or loss to the vehicle you are registering and any of its contents except that caused by College equipment under the direct control of Lafayette and its agents and employees.

In consideration of the number of parking spaces available, on-campus permits will be issued with the following priorities taken into consideration:

  • Seniors and Juniors will receive priority consideration for parking assignments if registered prior to June 20, 2022. If this deadline is missed, you may still register, but your class year will not be taken into consideration when parking is assigned.
  • First-year students – While it is not anticipated that first-year students will be accommodated with on-campus parking, you may apply online and your request will be kept on file. If space becomes available, you will be notified via email. If approved, the parking permit fee for the 2022-23 academic year will be $450.00, billed to the student account.
  • Off-campus students must register your motor vehicle online with the Department of Public Safety before registering with Easton Police Departments Traffic Division. Details of how to register will be provided with your Lafayette College registration confirmation.
  • Study abroad students who will attend Lafayette for either the fall or spring semester will need to follow the above registration process according to policy. If you are planning to leave a car on campus during your study abroad contact Public Safety
