Lafayette College provides students with a free, safe and reliable shuttle bus service connecting the main campus with the Downtown/Williams Arts campus, college athletic fields, and student parking areas.

The LCAT shuttle provides transportation on campus.

The LCAT shuttle is currently operated by Easton Coach Company and runs most days during the academic year. LCAT service is not available over summer or other school breaks.

Reminder: The intersection of McCartney Street and College Avenue lacks a well-defined pedestrian crossing. Pedestrians are encouraged to use pedestrian crossings to the east on Cattell Street (near High Street or Clinton Terrace) to get to the sidewalk on College Avenue in lieu of crossing at the intersection of College Avenue and McCartney Street. See a map here.

Transportation to Easton Bus Terminal

A partnership between the College and the Lehigh and Northampton Transit Authority (LANTA) provides transportation at no cost to current students, faculty and staff.  LANTA Bus service operates 363 days a year and provides reliable and consistent access to the Easton Bus Terminal, with stops along Cattell Street on College Hill. Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA)

The College provides transportation to and from the Lehigh Valley International Airport on designated days at scheduled times at the beginning and end of each semester breaks and major holiday.

Please be aware that service to the airport requires an ADVANCED RESERVATION. Reservations are accepted no later than 7 business days before your flight departure or arrival.

To make a reservation, provided the following information by email to: Sandra Rogers

  • Airline Name
  • Flight Number
  • Departure and/or Arrival Time
  • Student’s Cell Phone

The College will only provide transportation between campus and LVIA on the days/times scheduled. Cancellation or failure to show up for the reservation could result in a $75.00 fee. 

If you book a flight for a day or at a time when the LCAT Special shuttle is not running or if you don’t make the required advanced reservation for the airport service, you are responsible for making alternate arrangements to get to/from the airport.
